I can't remember....

... the last time I had store bought or delivery pizza. The fiance's pizza is THAT good. Plus, it's got to be at least a million calories less than your usual slice.

Instructions (via an e-mail from him):

Add to mixer bowl:
1 C hot water
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 squirt of honey
1 packet Fleishman's yeast
2 tbsp oil

Whisk well and let sit for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the mixture should be foamy.

In a separate bowl, mix together:
1 C white flour
2 C wheat flour

Set the mixer on low and slowly add the flour to the yeast mixture, incorporating well each time you mix some in. Once the dough gets thicker, change tot he dough hook (if you have a KA mixer). When the dough isn't sticky anymore and is thoroughly kneaded, you're done. Cover the bowl with saran wrap and leave it in a warm place to rise for 45 minutes. When dough has risen, roll out. Cover with pizza sauce - we use regular Ragu pizza sauce.

After this is where it gets sketchy. We estimate on our cheese, but generally don't over do it -- usually shredded 2% mozarella. We use a package of mushrooms, 1 green bell pepper, 1 red bell pepper, spinach, and scallions (but there are no set numbers). We've also used pineapple once, which was delicious. The possibilities are definitely endless!

And, to make this an even more pointless recipe, our over has been broken on and off since we moved in, so every time we make the pizza it's a new time/heat adventure.
